According to the city of Yongin, the Dongmakcheon Stream in Gogi-dong, Suji-gu, Yongin-si, Yongin-si, overflowed around 11:30 pm on the 8th.
Resident A got into the car to move and parked for fear that the car parked in the empty lot by the stream would be flooded, but was swept up by the sudden increase in river water and got trapped in the car.
The engine was turned off, and the water in the car started to fill up in a situation where the door did not open due to water pressure.

At that moment, Kang-man Lee, who found Mr. A trapped in the car, and three acquaintances rushed through the torrent and approached the car.

Just as the car was about to float away in the swelled water, this bankbook opened the back door and, together with acquaintances, rescued Mr. A through the back door.

Mr. A ended up scrapping the flooded car because he only had liability insurance.

Yongin Mayor Lee Sang-il, who was informed of this news, decided to award a certificate of exemplary citizen citation to four people, including the bankbook Lee, who rescued Mr. A.
