Remove a message on WhatsApp the day after it was sent, when you regret its content?

It is now possible.

Since Monday, the application belonging to Meta allows messages to be deleted for its sender and recipients up to two days and 12 hours later, indicates Les Numériques.

It could not be easier.

In the app, just tap and hold the unwanted message, select the trash can in the top right, and delete it.

A "Delete for all" option should appear.

Recipient backups still possible

Please note, this does not mean that your senders have not read it, but it avoids leaving any traces.

The best option is to delete the message you regret as soon as possible.

Be aware, however, that your recipients always have the option of automatically saving the images and audio files you send.

For the delete messages older than 48 hours feature to work, the whole group must have the latest version of WhatsApp.
