Due to heavy rain last night, a family with developmental disabilities who lived in a semi-basement house in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, was isolated and killed by flooding.

According to the police, a woman in her 40s and her sister A and her teenage daughter were found dead at 0:26 today (9th) at 0:26 in a house in Sillim-dong.

Mr. A asked an acquaintance to report the flood yesterday, and the acquaintance reported it to the police at around 9 pm yesterday.

The police, who received the report, said that the house was filled with water due to heavy rain and that drainage work was necessary and requested a joint response from the fire department.

However, they were already dead by the time the family was found after drainage.

It was determined that four people were living with the sister's mother.

It is known that the mother was away from home at the time of the accident for hospital treatment.

Her older sister, B, had a developmental disability, local residents said.

One resident said, "The previous day, the residents tore off the security windows and struggled to save them, but the water came up in a few seconds."

The police will decide whether to perform an autopsy after a doctor's examination of them.
