The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that, from 4:40 a.m. today (9th) due to heavy rain in the upper Han River area, both directions of the Gangbyeonbuk-ro Mapo Bridge-Hangang Bridge section were completely controlled.



The city of Seoul urged the city to “detour, as the amount of discharge from the Paldang Dam has increased due to heavy rain and the section has been completely controlled.”



Earlier, from 2:45 a.m. today, the section from Yeomchang IC to the National Cemetery was also completely controlled.



Vehicle control continues in the sections between Seongsu JC and Gunja Bridge on the Dongbu Arterial Road and Majang Ramp and Seongdong IC on the inner ring road as the water level of the Han River rises.



Vehicle traffic between Surak Underpass and Gunja Bridge on the Dongbu Arterial Road, which was controlled from 6:30 pm yesterday due to the rise in the water level of the Jungnangcheon Stream, resumed at 2:25 am today.
