When they reached the Clos des Roses district, they were again "victims of mortar and projectile fire".

After the use of "intermediate weapons" by the police, three people were arrested.

The LR mayor of Compiègne, Philippe Marini, called on Monday in a press release for "the support of additional national police officers".

"These intimidations will not stop our resolve to fight against all trafficking," he wrote.

According to his figures, 36 kg of drugs were seized in 2021 in his city and "already more than 22 kg since the beginning of 2022".
