The express train service of Subway Line 9 was suspended today (9th) due to torrential rain in the Seoul area.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government said, "All trains will operate as regular trains in accordance with the flood repair work of some stations on Line 9."

Trains operate only between Gaehwa Station and Noryangjin Station and between Sinnonhyeon Station and Central Veterans Hospital Station.

The section between Noryangjin Station and Sinnonhyeon Station has been suspended due to flooding at Dongjak Station and Gubanpo Station.

All sections of Lines 1 to 8, Ui Sinseol Line, and Sillim Line operated by Seoul Transportation Corporation are operating normally from the first train.

An official from Seoul explained, "Drainage work is expected to be completed at Dongjak Station in the morning, but it is expected that it will take some time for Gubanpo Station."
