An employee in his 40s was found dead in a septic tank at the Gangwon factory in Hitejinro, Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon-do, and the police launched an investigation.
According to the police and fire department on the 6th, a man in his 40s was found dead in a septic tank about 3.5m deep inside the factory at around 2:03 pm on the 5th.
The fire department and the police were dispatched on the same day after receiving reports from A's family and colleagues saying, "I can't see Mr. A."
The police plan to request an autopsy from the National Institute of Forensic Sciences to determine the cause of death.
A police official said, "The accident has nothing to do with the Hite Jinro Gangwon Plant National Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) Public Transport Workers' Cargo Solidarity rally."
