Seoul Gwanghwamun Plaza will open tomorrow (6th) after one year and nine months of construction.

Ahead of the commemorative event, vehicle operation will be virtually completely controlled on Sejong-daero in front of the square from 6 pm to 10 pm tomorrow evening.

Vehicles are allowed in only one lane from the U.S. Embassy in the Gwanghwamun three-way intersection, and you can only turn right in the direction of Anguk Station.

38 bus routes passing through the bus stop in front of Gwanghwamun Square will be detoured to surrounding roads such as Saemunan-ro and Ujeongguk-ro.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government will also conduct special crackdowns on illegal parking on Sejong-daero, Saemunan-ro, and Sajik-ro starting at 2 p.m. on the same day for smooth communication with surrounding roads.
