I have also seen many articles that a civil servant in Gimje, Jeollabuk-do, was severely punished for calling his subordinates to serve and clean up his son's cafe opening ceremony.

Director Kim Je-si invited several government officials to the opening ceremony of his son's cafe last May.

He was found to have done things like carrying food and guiding guests.

Most of the civil servants who attended the opening ceremony were found to have left their workplaces without permission, without paying annual leave, banquets, or business trips.

In response, the Jeollabuk-do Office of the Inspector General demanded that the relevant departments impose severe disciplinary action against Director Kim Je-si, who ordered unfair work to public officials for personal gain.

In addition, disciplinary action or caution will be taken against 15 public officials who have left their workplaces without permission and attended the opening ceremony.
