It was a difficult day to stand outside for a while.

Heat wave warnings were issued for most of the country, and Seoul was the hottest this year, with midday temperatures exceeding 36 degrees Celsius.

Then we will connect our reporters who are out in Yeouido Hangang Park in Seoul to see what the weather is like outside.

Reporter Ha Jeong-yeon, there are a lot of people even at this hour.

Is it still hot now?

<Reporter>

Yes, it got a little better in the evening, but it's still very hot.

It's suddenly raining a little right now, but I'm sweating profusely even when I'm standing still, so I also came down to the inside of the plaza near the water. As you can see, citizens are enjoying a lot of water play with their children.

[Lee Joo-won / Yangcheon-gu, Seoul: It's too hot because I'm still at home, so I play with water guns and run around.

It’s cool and cold, so it feels good.]

[Park Nam-i / Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do: It’s suffocatingly hot when I go out, and I’m sweating even when I’m still.]

Today (30th) The hottest place in the country was Hwacheon, Gangwon-do, with the highest temperature. It rose to 37.3 degrees.

Seoul also climbed to 36.1 degrees, the hottest this year, and Gangseo, Paju, and Bundang, Seongnam also exceeded 37 degrees.

The reason the day is so hot is because the typhoon 'Songda' brought the heat from the equator as it moved north.

The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) said that the heat wave warning will be eased as rain is forecast across the country tomorrow due to the typhoon, but the heat of over 30 degrees and tropical nights are expected to continue.
