The Ministry of Public Administration and Security announced that Kim Soon-ho, the Chief of Police at the National Police Agency, has been appointed as the first director of the Police Department of the Ministry of Public Administration and Security.
Director Kim Soon-ho joined the police in 1989 as a police officer.
He has served as a Inspector General of the National Police Agency, the 1st Director of the Jeonbuk Provincial Police Agency, the Security Investigation Department of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, and the Chief of the Nambu Police Station in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, and is currently serving as the Director of the National Police Agency's Security Investigation Bureau.
Director Kim Soon-ho will start his service on the 2nd of next month with the launch of the Police Department of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
