When the news that marathon is gaining popularity in Korea, Chinese netizens are making unreasonable claims that Korea is trying to steal marathon after kimchi.



China CCTV recently introduced that citizens in Korea are looking for marathon as a menu for two fevers.



Citing sales data from domestic card companies, it was also reported that Korean female students preferred marathon to tteokbokki.



The report quickly spread through Chinese social media, and the keyword 'Korea in a marathon' ranked second in real-time search terms.



Some netizens made coercive claims that 'Korea will soon insist that even marathon is their own food' and 'they will steal marathon after kimchi'.



China is continuing the Northeast Project, claiming that kimchi and hanbok are their culture.



As the contents of such a payment spread, domestic netizens are fighting back with reactions such as 'I think Korea can do the same just because they claim other countries' culture as their own' .
