A 20-year-old man who was arrested on charges of putting his father's body in the refrigerator at home for several months has been found to have abused his father, who had dementia while he was alive.



The Chungnam Seosan Police Station announced today (26th) that the National Forensic Service (National Forensic Service), who completed an autopsy on the body of a man in his 60s, the father of Mr. ) said.



However, the National Forensic Service determined that the ribs of the body were broken, so there is a possibility of a fracture due to an external shock.



Police believe that Mr. A's continuous assault over several months broke his father's ribs.



We also secured a statement that Mr. A abused his father, who had dementia and was unable to move, by pouring hot water on his body.



At the time of the arrest, the police applied only the corpse abandonment charge to Mr. A, but after checking the circumstances of the abuse, he additionally applied the charge of murder and abuse, and sent Mr. A to arrest on the 4th.



Earlier, on the 30th of last month, Mr. A was arrested by the police on charges of abandoning his father's body in the refrigerator of his house in Seosan, Chungcheongnam-do, where he lived.



According to the police, the building manager who was helping the move at around 12 noon found the body of his father in the refrigerator of Mr. A's house and reported it to the police.



When the police arrived at the scene upon receiving the report and checked, the father's body was crouched in the refrigerator, wearing only a diaper.

At the time of discovery, the body was said to have been significantly decomposed and severely thin.



As a result of the police investigation, it was found that A's father's health had deteriorated from dementia and diabetes from the beginning of this year, and he was unable to move for a month or two before his death.



Also, when his father's symptoms of dementia got worse, Mr. A started assaulting him, and from a year ago, he did not even give him even poor food due to the high level of living.



It has been investigated that Mr. A has been living alone with his father.
