As the rainy season ended and the heat wave began in earnest, the temperature in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, rose to 35.4 degrees today and 33.1 degrees in Seoul.

A heat wave warning has been issued for most of the country, including a heat wave warning in the interior of Daegu and Gyeongbuk, and it is expected that the steamy days will continue for a while.

Even in this kind of weather, there are many people who work outside without avoiding the heat.

In particular, construction workers face even greater difficulties due to the harsh working environment.

Reporter Ji-wook Kim covered the scene.

[Janghyeon/Construction worker: The highest floor number is about 15th floor now, but it takes about 15 minutes to go to the bathroom, so it is difficult to bear it.]

In the other place, a password is set so that only about 10 employees of the construction company can use it. .

There are also not enough rest facilities to escape the heat.

[Gilhyun Choi/Construction Worker: I made the dismantling work a bit difficult.

Even though my body was strange, from then on.

I sat down under the slab on the concrete and rested for a while...
