IKAIST CEO Kim Seong-jin (incarcerated), who is being investigated by the police over allegations of sexual favors to People's Power CEO Lee Jun-seok, has replaced the lawyer.
According to Kim's representative today (25th), lawyer Kim So-yeon, who has served as representative for Kim, recently resigned, and Shin-eop Kang was appointed as a new legal representative.
Lawyer Kang posted on his Facebook today, "As of today, I have taken on the role of Kim Seong-jin, a key reference in the case of Lee Jun-seok, sexual abuse, etc." said.
Lawyer Kang is a former president of 'Keonsarang', a fan club of President Yoon Seok-yeol's wife, Kim Kun-hee, and has advocated for Lee Jun-seok's resignation.
The police investigated CEO Kim imprisoned at the Seoul Detention Center twice as a witness, and the third investigation is scheduled on the 28th.
CEO Lee is suspected of receiving sexual favors from CEO Kim at a hotel in Daejeon in 2013.
Representative Lee, who was brought to the Party Ethics Committee for his disclosures, was recently suspended from party membership for six months.
