At the Chuncheon Legoland, rides are stopped one after another.

Today (21st), the observatory ride stopped at a height of 25m, and 19 passengers and staff in it had to wait for two hours to be rescued.

Legoland Observatory has stopped.



Children in helmets are seated waiting to be rescued, while firefighters use elevated ladder trucks to rescue one by one.



At around 12:35 pm today, the Chuncheon Legoland Lego Tower Observation Deck stopped at 25m, causing an accident in which users were trapped.



The 43m high Lego Tower is a device that users ride up and down inside a circular column.



When the device stopped, 19 people, including 17 passengers and 2 employees, were trapped.



[Legoland user: It seemed like something was coming down, but suddenly there was a bang.

Then several employees came out and said there was something wrong with the system...

The rescue was completed at around 3:08 pm, about two hours later, but the users had to fall in anxiety.



This isn't the first Legoland ride accident.



Since the pilot opening last April, there have been four roller coaster stop accidents.



[Legoland users: I'm glad there's no major accident right now, because if there are any casualties or something like that, it's a serious situation.]



Legoland's response is that stopping accidents are frequent.

Legoland believes that the accident occurred due to a system error and is investigating the exact cause of the accident. .
