A man in his 20s who illegally filmed a woman in a gym's changing room in Seongdong-gu, Seoul was arrested by the police.
The Seoul Seongdong Police Station announced yesterday (20th) that it had booked a gym member, A, for violating the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes (shooting using cameras, etc.).
Mr. A is suspected of having entered the changing room of a gym in Seongdong-gu around 8:20 pm on the 17th and filming the body of Mr. B, a woman who was using the changing room with her cell phone, without permission.
After receiving the report, the police rushed to the scene and arrested Mr. A as a current offender.
About 10 videos suspected of being illegally filmed were found on Mr. A's cell phone.
Currently, the police are conducting digital forensic work by randomly submitting Mr. A's cell phone.
A police official said, "There may be additional victims depending on the forensic results."
