Inha University has launched a disciplinary procedure against a male student suspected of committing a sexual offense against a female student and falling to death.



Inha University announced that it had requested the dean of the university for the disciplinary action of a 20-year-old first-year student A, who was arrested on charges of quasi-rape and murder in accordance with Article 50 of the School Regulations.



According to the regulations, there are four disciplinary measures: probation, fixed-term suspension, indefinite suspension, and expulsion.



Expulsion measures are decided by the student reward and punishment committee after deliberation by the reward and punishment committee of the college to which Mr. A belongs and the recommendation of the dean, and the president decides.



If the procedure is carried out without any problems, it is expected that the disciplinary action against Mr. A will be completed by the middle of next month.



Person A is accused of committing a sex crime against woman B in her 20s from a five-story building on the campus of Inha University in the early morning of the 15th and causing her to fall and die.
