An urgent report from a woman in her 20s was received by the police at a house in Gangnam-gu, Seoul around 1 am today (19th).

It was said that a man broke into the house and filmed illegally, and then ran away.

This man, 55-year-old A, was sentenced to 1 year and 10 months in prison last year for secretly filming more than 30 women, and was sentenced to attach an electronic anklet until 2025.

As the investigation network narrowed, Mr. A cut off the electronic anklet he was wearing near Jamsil-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul around 4:30 in the morning.

A damaged electronic anklet was found near Samsung Jungang Station in Gangnam-gu.

A damaged electronic anklet was found in a trash can near Samsung Central Station.

The man was later found to have fled in a rental car.

The police are not ruling out the possibility that there might be someone who broke the electronic anklet and helped in the process of escaping, given that Mr. A used a vehicle.

The rental car was returned to a company in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, and Mr. A's whereabouts after that are still unknown.

The Ministry of Justice is focusing on the arrest of Mr. A, such as publicly wanted.

Mr. A explained that he is 168 centimeters tall, weighs 67 kilograms, has dark skin and wears glasses, and has a quick voice and excellent eloquence.
