Today (18th), the 1st Criminal Division (Chief Judge Baek Kang-jin) of the Jeonju Court of the Gwangju High Court dismissed the defendant's appeal in the appeal against Mr. A (53) charged with attempted murder and sentenced him to five years in prison. kept it.  



Mr. A is accused of attempting to kill his brother B by swinging his weapon several times in front of his father's grave in Gochang-gun, Jeollabuk-do, around 8 am on September 13 last year.



He was dissatisfied with his brothers over property inheritance, and on that day his brother B opened his father's grave without consulting him, and he committed the crime. 



At that time, brother B managed to escape from Mr. A, but was wounded for 4 weeks.  



As a result of the investigation, it is known that the younger brother was buried in the grave of her father, who had recently passed away. 



In the end, Mr. A, who stood in court, denied the charges, saying, "I had no intention of killing his brother." 



In response, the court said, "Combining the statements and evidence, it can be admitted that Mr. A tried to kill Mr. B with a weapon. . 



He continued, "It is questionable whether Mr. A is genuinely repenting because he has not yet been forgiven by Mr. B and is blaming the victim for the cause of the crime. No,” he explained the reason for the sentencing.
