Over the weekend, in Pyeongsan Village in Yangsan, Gyeongsangnam-do, where former President Moon Jae-in's residence is located, a rally to support the restoration of President Moon's daily life and a one-man demonstration of the older brother Lee Dae-jun, a public official who was killed by the North Korean military, followed.

About 50 members of the 'Peace Group for the Restoration of Daily Life in Pyeongsan Village', composed of Yangsan citizens and others, held a rally in Pyeongsan Village in the morning of the 16th to support the restoration of daily life of the former President and wife Moon and the residents of Pyeongsan Village.

An official from the Peace Group said, "We will also start a signature campaign for the restoration of daily life for former President Moon and villagers, who want to live quietly."

There have been protests of a similar nature, such as 'requesting to stop anti-group assemblies and demonstrations', but this is the first time that an assembly has been held.

After the rally, Lee Rae-jin, the older brother of the late Lee Dae-jun, a civil servant of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, who was killed by North Korean forces in the West Sea two years ago, held a one-man demonstration.

Mr. Lee urged the release of the presidential records, saying, "For what reason (his younger brother) was killed, and for what reason and basis he announced as a defector."

Mr. Lee also said, "I came here as the first action to accuse (President Moon Jae-in)."
