The new version 2022-2023 emojis are coming soon to your smartphones.

Let's say Sunday, World Emoji Day.

On this occasion, Emojipedia shared the list of candidate emojis.

These will be incorporated into Unicode 15.0, the computer standard system that establishes a global computer language.

It will be necessary to wait until September for these new pictograms to be definitively validated.

They will then be available on all smartphones, on Android and iOS.

And, even if the list can still evolve, all the emojis presented by Emojipedia should see the light of day.

Only 31 new emojis

For 2022-2023, these emojis will be 31 in number. A particularly limited vintage compared to the two previous years.

Indeed, there were 334 in 2020 and 112 in 2021. This is therefore the lowest number of new emojis.

Between October and December 2022, new ones will therefore be available, including a face that says no, a left hand and a right hand that stop, all available in all skin colors.

In the animal department, we discover a moose, a donkey, a black bird, a goose and a jellyfish.

Could also be included in conversations: a wing, a hyacinth, ginger, peas in their pods or maracas.
