Various rallies and events are held in downtown Seoul on the weekend, the 16th, and severe traffic congestion is expected.

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency has urged people to use public transportation when passing Sejong-daero, Han River-daero, Samil-ro, and Toegye-ro, as large-scale events such as the Seoul Queer Culture Festival will be held in the city tomorrow (16th).

After the assembly at Seoul Plaza, the Seoul Queer Culture Festival Organizing Committee will march around Eulji-ro, Jongno, and Toegye-ro, and then perform again at Seoul Plaza.

It is the first time in three years that the Seoul Queer Culture Festival is held at Seoul Plaza.

On the same day, the Committee Against Queer Festival held a 'backfire' rally and march in the Sejong-daero area centered on the Seoul City Council.

The lifesaving committee of former United Progressive Party lawmaker Lee Seok-ki will also march from Seoul Station to the roundabout in the Samgakji area.

A police official said, "We plan to install information boards around the assembly and march sections, and deploy about 300 people including traffic police to manage traffic, such as inducing vehicle detours."
