Social networks Meta sues a user after stealing and cloning 350,000 Instagram profiles
Instagram
has announced new features for its paid subscription service, including access to
exclusive feed posts
for subscribers and chats with content creators.
The company announced at the end of last January that it was testing
a paid subscription service
, a modality that offers access to exclusive live images or videos of
certain content creators
on the social network.
Specifically,
Instagram Subscriptions
presents three different access options.
The first of these is Subscriber Lives,
live videos
that subscribers have access to, which differ from other content because they
appear surrounded by a purple circle.
On the other hand, there is Subscriber Stories,
exclusive stories
through which subscribers can interact with the creators using
'stickers' or stickers.
Finally, Subscriber Badges is presented as an option that allows content creators to
identify their subscribers
by means of an icon also in purple when they comment on their 'feed' publications.
After expanding access to
Instagram Subscriptions
to more members of its community in the United States and collecting
feedback from users
who have tried this modality, the company has announced new features aimed at followers
of content creators
.
The first of these features is access to
exclusive feed posts and reels
.
Although it is true that at first subscribers could see Stories that
other users of the social network
did not have access to , now they will also be able to enjoy content created for them exclusively in the profile of each content creator.
payment option
On the other hand, Meta has introduced in this
payment option
a new form of communication aimed at content creators, who
will be able to interact
in a different way with the community of platform subscribers.
From now on, it is possible
to create chats with up to 30 subscribers
using Messenger technology, either from the inbox of this application or from a Story in which
the 'Join chat' button is integrated.
Those who decide to use the Messenger
message box
will find a new subscriptions tab that will allow them to
organize and manage the chats
with the followers of their profile.
On the other hand, the company has announced that it is launching a tab for
the profiles of content creators
'Subscriptions', where subscribers will be able to find all the
exclusive content
published by them until then.
Finally,
Meta
has commented that it has recently created a tag or 'hashtag' of
Subscription Stories and 'reels'
for creators to encourage followers to subscribe to their channels.
Likewise, he recalled that a few days ago he announced that
he would not charge any fee
for accessing Subscriptions, paid events or badges until 2024.
