The first trial was held today (14th) against a sister pimp, who was charged with committing crimes against humanity, such as leashing women working in a brothel and feeding them dog food.

The prosecution's statement of the gist of the prosecution, which lasted nearly 10 minutes in the courtroom, was shocking in itself.

Chuncheon District Court Wonju Branch Criminal Division 1 (Chief Judge Shin Gyo-shik) held the first trial this morning on the case of sisters A (48) and B (52), who were handed over to trial on charges such as rape.

Through an acknowledgment interrogation, the court inquired about the defendant's name, age, residence, occupation, etc.

Then, the trial prosecutor stated the name of the crime and the charges applied to these sisters.

According to the Punishment of Violence Act, 16 crimes were applied, including joint confinement, joint assault, habitual assault, special assault, coercion, forced molestation, and violation of the Act on Special Cases concerning the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes (threatening to use filmed materials, etc.) and similar rape. was handed over to trial.

The crime charges of these pimp sisters were so numerous that the prosecutor read the summary of the indictment of dozens of pages in the courtroom for nearly 10 minutes.

The fact of the prosecution itself was so shocking that the audience in the courtroom sighed and stuck out their tongues.

Sister A is accused of abusing the victim in various ways, such as leashing the female waitress and imprisoning them with chains, feeding them rice mixed with dog food, and pouring boiling water over their bodies.

Also included in the indictment are charges of forcing a female waitress to pick up a piece of stone and place it in an important part of her body, forcing her to eat feces and urine she couldn't bear while in confinement, as well as forcing her to engage in a similar sexual activity with the other person and filming it and threatening him.

A victim who had been abused for nearly a year was found to have suffered damage to an auricular hematoma, also known as a 'dumpling ear', a disease caused by bleeding caused by repeated stimulation of the auricle (pinna).

The court decided to change the next trial to the trial preparation date, considering the fact that the charges are so vast and that partial supplementation of the indictment is necessary.

These sisters' crimes against humanity became known in August of last year through the victims' complaints.

Ahead of the first trial, the sisters also submitted one and four statements of reflection to the court, respectively.

The next trial, which will be held as a preparatory date for the trial, will be held on August 1.
