The first public hearing to determine whether the process of amending the law that reduces the prosecution's investigative powers is unconstitutional will be held at the Supreme Court of the Constitutional Court on the afternoon of the 12th.

In this argument for the power of the people, the main issue is whether there was a serious flaw in the procedure when Rep. Min Hyung-bae, a former Democratic Party member, was assigned to the Judiciary Committee Agenda Mediation Committee as an independent after leaving the party.

Rep. Jeon Joo-hye from the petitioner, People's Power, and Rep. Park Ju-min and Song Ki-heon, from the Democratic Party, from the Judiciary Committee of the National Assembly, the respondent, will attend.

All nine judges of the Constitutional Court hear the power dispute trial, and with the consent of a majority of the judges, decisions such as citation, dismissal, or dismissal can be made.
