A 40-year-old man who assaulted his elderly parents for not visiting the prison has been sentenced to prison.

The Jeonju District Court announced on the 12th (today) that it had sentenced a 43-year-old man, who was indicted on charges of injury to a special ancestor, to 7 years in prison.

Mr. A was charged with assaulting his 80-year-old father with a pot pot at his home in Deokjin-gu, Jeonju-si, Jeollabuk-do, around 3 pm on the 16th of April, and grabbing the hair of his 70-year-old mother and throwing it away.

He is also accused of assaulting his wife, saying, "I will kill them all" after going out to report.

As a result of the investigation, it was found that Mr. A committed the crime because his parents did not visit him while he was serving a sentence in prison after being sentenced to prison for fraud.

Even after Mr. A was arrested by the police, it is said that he showed a non-reflecting attitude, such as stating, "If you do not listen, you must be right."

The court explained the reason for the sentencing, saying, "The defendant has a bad quality of crime for committing abusive language and assault against the elderly and women."
