Thirty “premium” NFTs are also offered for 1,000 euros each.

For them, the physical work is “numbered, signed by the hand of the author, dedicated and framed”.

On social media, some struggled to understand the very modern digitization of the iconic penguin.

"The generation that knew T'Choupi when it was created is now over 30 years old," explained Stanislas Mako, CEO of the Kalart platform.

“We are talking to those who have grown up with it, rather than children.

Internet users who speak out against T'Choupi NFTs are in fact speaking out against the image of NFTs in general, on which they have prejudices.

It was the son of Thierry Courtin, a blockchain and NFT enthusiast, who suggested this idea to his father.

If all the NFTs are purchased, Thierry Courtin intends to go to the metaverse to celebrate the character's birthday there.

Those who own the NFTs will be able to come to a virtual space to meet the avatars of T'Choupi and his creator.
