The so-called 'Andong Okdong Street Murder Case' occurred on the 4th and is shocking, and unconfirmed information regarding the identity of the perpetrator and victim is spreading.

Police said most of this was not true.

Daegu Andong Police Station said today (7th) that they had applied for an arrest warrant for A (22), who killed a man in his 20s who had been drinking and arguing with him.

Person A is suspected of killing a man who was in an argument while drinking alcohol on a street in Ok-dong, Andong-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, around 2:30 a.m. on the 4th.

According to the police, a party of 5 people including B, a college student who came to Andong from Pohang, Gyeongbuk, had an argument with A because they were 'looking at him badly' while drinking.

In the process, it is known that Mr. A was gang assaulted by Mr. B's group.

After that, the fight seemed to be over, but it was found that Mr. A, who was not resolved, bought a weapon at a nearby convenience store, and then came back to Mr. B and had a fight and killed Mr. B.

Meanwhile, a 40-second CCTV video containing the crime scene and photos from the scene spread through online communities.

In the video, Mr. B, who is wearing a red top and bottom, pushed Mr. A several times and fell by Mr. A's attack, and Mr. A hurriedly left the scene after checking Mr. B who had fallen.

It is said that A, who was caught near an apartment complex 400 meters away, was in a state of intoxication to the extent that it was impossible to investigate at the time of the police arrest.

However, as the video is distributed without mosaic processing, false facts are spreading, such as that Mr. A is a butcher working at a butcher's restaurant with his family and Mr. B is a gangster.

A restaurant in Andong, designated as the place where Mr. A works, posted on Facebook, "The rumor that the second son here is the assailant has become true and is circulating. My unrelated brother and parents are under tremendous stress." I plan to find the person who spread it and hold them legally responsible."

A police official said, "We are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident based on CCTV footage of the crime and eyewitness statements."
