While the police are investigating the death of a male customer in their 20s and a female employee in their 30s, who drank together at an entertainment bar in Gangnam, Seoul, a large amount of suspected drug substances were found in the vehicle of the deceased.



The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced today (7th) that the total amount of suspected drug substances found in the vehicle of male customer A, the key person in this case, reached 64g.

This is an amount that can be administered to more than 2,100 people, given that a single dose of a drug is usually 0.03 g.



The police plan to request the National Institute for Scientific Investigation to analyze the composition of 64 g of white powder found in Mr. A's vehicle and look into how Mr. A got this substance.



In the morning of that day, autopsies of the deceased persons A and B were carried out at the National Forensic Service, and a police official said, "According to the findings of the first autopsy, no damage was found that could lead to death in both cases." We will conduct a detailed examination.”



Earlier, on the 5th, Mr. A was found unconscious in an accident at a park near the pub around 8:30 am that day after drinking alcohol at an entertainment pub for 2 hours from 5 am.



At the time of his death, Mr. A showed seizure symptoms presumed to be from a drug overdose, and was taken to the hospital, but eventually died.

Also, female employee B, who drank alcohol with Mr. A, died after complaining of high fever and chills around 10:20 am on the same day.



Earlier, the police arrived at the scene after receiving a report from a colleague of Mr. B, saying, "I think I mixed drugs with alcohol" at around 7:20 am that day, but Mr. B withdrew as he stubbornly refused the simple drug test.



And three hours later, Mr. B died at her home.



Meanwhile, the police have also requested a drug inspection on customers and employees who were at a drinking party at the time.
