The body of a child believed to be around 10 years old was found and the police launched an investigation.
The Ilsan Western Police Station in Gyeonggi Province announced today (5th) that the body of a child estimated to be around 10 years old was found at the mouth of the Han River at around 12:00 noon, reported by fishermen.
It was confirmed that the child's body was wearing only bottoms, and there was no necklace or bracelet that could identify the child.
Police explained that no injuries were found on the body, including bruises.
It is reported that there have been no reports of similar disappearances in the area near the body where the body was found.
The police will determine the exact cause of death through an autopsy along with identification.
