IKAIST CEO Kim Seong-jin, who is being investigated by the police over allegations of sexual favors to People's Power CEO Lee Jun-seok, claimed that he was looking for a 'Park Geun-hye watch' he received as a gift from Lee and keeping it.

Kim So-yeon, the legal representative of CEO Kim So-yeon, met with reporters at the Seoul Detention Center before the police interview of CEO Kim on the 5th and said, "IKAIST employee sent me a picture of Park Geun-hye's watch this morning, which he received from CEO Kim and kept." "The watch with the President's name on it is correct," he said.

However, lawyer Kim said that he would hear specific statements from CEO Kim during the police investigation regarding the source of this watch.

CEO Kim Seong-jin, who is suspected of sexually abusing CEO Lee Jun-seok, is imprisoned in the Seoul Detention Center for a separate case.

He claimed to have received a so-called Park Geun-hye watch from CEO Lee Jun-seok on August 15, 2013, about a month after sexual assault, during the first police interview he received as a witness on the 30th of last month, but the whereabouts are unclear.

Lawyer Kim said, "We plan to collect today's investigation and submit it to the People's Power Ethics Committee Chairman Lee Yang-hee."

Separately from the police investigation, CEO Lee Jun-seok is awaiting deliberation by the People's Strength Ethics Committee on the 7th on suspicion of destroying evidence of sexual harassment.

Lawyer Kim said, "Director Jang (who was the informant of the sexual harassment allegation) appeared at the Ethics Committee and said that he wanted to explain (about the allegations) in detail. I'm going to go and make a statement."

Director Jang, who is the representative of Kim Seong-jin, is the person who reported the allegation of sexual harassment by Lee Jun-seok.

Earlier, Kim Cheol-geun, the leader of the party's political affairs office, was charged with receiving a fact confirmation letter stating that there was no sexual harassment, instead of visiting Director Jang to write a memorandum promising an investment of 700 million won.
