shampoo that automatically dyes your hair black as long as you wash it was released last year and became very popular.

However, debates have continued over whether the core ingredients of shampoo are harmful to the human body.

This is 'Modamoda Shampoo', which has attracted attention as a shampoo with dyeing function.

The key ingredient is trihydroxybenzene, also known as THB, and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety banned the use of THB in cosmetics, including shampoo, at the end of last year.

This is because THB was previously defined as a genetically toxic substance in Europe.

However, the decision of the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety was overturned in March.

The Regulatory Reform Commission recommended that "the final decision on whether to ban the use of ingredients should be made only after additional risk verification of THB is carried out."

Since then, product sales have continued, and in the US online shopping mall Amazon, we have ranked first in the 'New Shampoo' category.

Ministry of Food and Drug Safety refuted that the US and Korea have different safety management systems for sales in the US.

In fact, there is no list of banned ingredients in the US when it comes to dyeing.

The Consumer Organizations Council plans to form a verification committee within this month.

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and the manufacturer each submit an additional risk assessment plan, discuss and come up with an assessment plan, and the verification committee analyzes the results and makes a final decision.

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety will complete the risk assessment by April next year .

However, the possibility of another conflict with the manufacturer over the evaluation method cannot be excluded.
