Two suspects have been arrested on suspicion of mobilizing a Thai woman into prostitution while detained at a massage parlor.



The Eunpyeong Police Station in Seoul announced on the 4th that at around 8:20 in the morning of the 1st, two people, including a 35-year-old owner, who rescued a 30-year-old Thai woman and detained the woman from a massage parlor in Galhyeon-dong, Eunpyeong-gu, were arrested on charges of violating the Prostitution Punishment Act. Those who hired the victim are accused of arranging prostitution with 11 men and imprisoning the woman in the establishment.



Their criminal activity was brought to a halt when an official from a civic group who had contacted the victim reported to the police that 'a Thai woman is being held in custody'.



The police, who arrived at the establishment, were able to open the locked door together with the fire department and rescue the victim from there.



However, during the police investigation, it was reported that Mr. A and others completely denied the allegations.
