The restoration work of the SRT train, which had derailed and caused train delays, was completed around 7 am today (2nd).



As a result, all high-speed trains resumed operation.



KORAIL started the accident management headquarters and worked all night with 229 manpower, 2 cranes, 2 track repair equipment, and 5 excavators.



In addition, before resumption of train operation, a test train was put into the accident section and safety check was completed.



As a result of this accident, KTX and SRT high-speed trains were suspended 14 times, delaying up to 326 minutes.



KORAIL added that it plans to cooperate with the government and other related organizations to determine the exact cause of the accident.
