After evacuating all residents, we conducted a safety diagnosis test.

As a result, one of the nine cooling towers installed on the roof was identified as the cause of the vibration.

It is presumed that the cooling fan running inside broke and the building shook.

A 1m-long cooling fan blade was torn off, and the time of vibration coincided with the time of the building's vibration, the ward office explained.

An inspection of the entire building completed in 2007 revealed no other abnormalities.

[Byeong-ik Jeong / Director of Urban Management, Jongno-gu, Seoul: I took a closer look at the site.

Therefore, it is judged that there is no risk of any other abnormal symptoms.] The

emergency evacuation order was lifted around 2:10 pm.

The building management team and Jongno-gu Office will soon investigate the cooling fans in detail and take safety measures.
