Not long ago, migrants trying to smuggle into Texas died while being trapped in a steamer trailer.

As the identities of the victims are confirmed one after another, their stories are also known one by one.

Alejandro Miguel and Margie Tamara, both from Honduras, majored in marketing and economics at university, respectively, but it was not easy to find a job in a poor home country, and eventually decided to move to the United States.

Wilmer and Melvin, from Guatemala, were 13-year-old cousins.

Will Mer's father sobbed that he never imagined his son would go to America in a trailer.

Meanwhile, as more patients died after being transported to the hospital, the total number of victims of this disaster rose to 53.

U.S. federal authorities have charged four people, including the driver.
