A 30-year-old woman who sprayed instant adhesive on the 4-month-old daughter of a former co-worker has been sentenced to prison.

The Incheon District Court sentenced a 30-year-old man who was handed over to trial for child abuse and special injury to two years and six months in prison.

Mr. A was charged with spraying glue on her 4-month-old daughter's eyes while her co-worker was away from her former co-worker's house in September last year.

She said the child couldn't open her eyes properly as her glue hardened, and she was taken to the hospital where she was treated for nearly a month.

Undetected of her crime, Mr. A once again went to her colleague's house and this time sprayed instant glue inside her child's nose.

Mr. A, who denied her crimes, said, "I have heard from her former colleague, 'I drink a lot of alcohol, but what will my child learn from me?' it was said to be.

The judge stated that the reason for the sentencing was that the crime was extremely poor and that severe punishment was inevitable, such as the victim's mother complaining of severe psychological pain.
