The story of a car owner who found a snake while replacing the air conditioner filter of a car has been released.

Yesterday (27th), an article titled 'A snake came out of the car' was posted on an online community.

Author A explained, "The car air conditioner kept smelling rancid, so I took it out to replace the air conditioner filter, but it came with a snake."

"Once I came to my senses, closed the car door and called 911," he added. "(firefighters) caught the snake with something like tongs.

Mr. A said, "This snake is called a 'bloodhead'. I think the problem was that I parked it near a mountain." He said, "I was traumatized and looking at the dashboard on the passenger side (where the snake came out) is terrifying. Bad smell from the air conditioner. If it comes up, be suspicious.”

Netizens who came across the story showed various reactions such as "It's dizzy just looking at the picture", "It would have been a disaster if it came out while driving", "The car smelled like food waste before, so I opened the engine room and found a dead snake."

Blood-headed snakes, also called flower snakes, belong to the largest (0.5-1.2m in body length) among snakes that live in Korea and are found in rice fields, rivers, and low mountains.

If bitten by a poison ivy, it can cause headaches, cerebral hemorrhage, and, in severe cases, death.
