At the first trial held today (27th) by Oh Han-seung, the 15th independent detective of the Incheon District Court, the prosecution released the charges of two assistants, A (32) and B (31), who helped Lee and Cho escape. .



A and B are accused of helping Mr. Lee, etc., who disappeared while being investigated by the prosecution while not in detention on charges of murder in December of last year.



Prosecutors said that from January to April 16 of this year, Mr. A entrusted Mr. Lee and Mr. Cho to manage and promote illegal sports betting sites and margin trading sites, and to use 19 million won in profits as escape funds. .



It was also confirmed that Mr. A sent items necessary for illegal site operation, such as computers, headsets, and chairs, to an officetel near Samsong Station in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, where Mr. Lee and others had been hiding.



The prosecution said that Mr. A gave Mr. Lee and others money to set up a hiding place, and had Mr. B to rent an officetel near Samsong Station in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do.



Person A and others are known to have stated in the prosecution's investigation that "I gave money at the request of Mr. Lee and Mr. Cho."



Prosecutors have also booked and investigated two other assistants who helped Lee and Cho escape.



Previously, Lee was arrested and charged with the murder of Mo Yoon (39 years old at the time of his death) in Yongso Valley, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do, on June 30, 2019, at around 8:24 pm on June 30, 2019, along with his ex-boyfriend, Jo.



They were arrested by the police at an officetel near Samsong Station in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do in April, four months after they hid before the second investigation by the prosecution on December 14 of last year.
