 A man in his 20s has been sentenced to probation, after committing harsh acts, such as confining his military successor in a boiler room and forcing him to eat dead flies. 



Seoul Western District Court 1st Criminal Division (Chief Judge Kang Seong-su) sentenced a 23-year-old university student A (23), who was charged with joint confinement and special assault under the Violence Punishment Act, to 10 months in prison, 2 years of probation, and ordered 160 hours of community service. It was announced yesterday (26th). 



Person A was handed over to trial on charges of harsh acts, such as assaulting his successor, Private B, at a military base in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province, from May to June last year. 



It was investigated that Person A beat Private B with a cleaning tool in the kitchen warehouse because Private B was not good at his job, and imprisoned Private B in a boiler room with no lights.

He also slapped Private B's thigh with his knee, saying he was late to pick up the phone. 



In addition, Mr. A instructed Private B to do the cleaning of the kitchen floor by 5 people alone for 13 days, and also removed all of Private B's left eyebrow, saying that he would not hit his thigh if he pushed his eyebrows. 



In addition, it is known that he assaulted Private B and forced him to pick up dead flies and eat them because he couldn't do gymnastics properly.
