Two business owners have been arrested for habitually assaulting and imprisoning female employees at an entertainment establishment in Gangwon-do for over a year.

They not only beat the employees with their bare hands, but also used various blunts and knives to commit harsh acts.

Five victims have been identified so far.

Victims testified that the owners did not hesitate to intentionally burn their legs by pouring hot water on them, or to tie them up with chains and dog leashes.

They were unable to report because they were afraid of retaliation, but were able to inform the police of the damage while the business was closed due to COVID-19.

More details will be provided in <SBS 8 News> shortly.
