Today (26th) around 2 am, a fire broke out on the 6th floor of a 15th-floor apartment in Wolpi-dong, Ansan-si, Gyeonggi-do, and it went out in about 1 hour and 10 minutes.



A woman in her 60s, who was in the house, suffered severe burns and was taken to the hospital, but died during treatment.



Police and fire departments have determined that the fire started in a small room and are investigating the cause of the fire.

At the same time, in Banseok-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, a parked SUV caught fire, but it went out in about 10 minutes.



There were no casualties, but all vehicles were burned, resulting in damage estimated at 15 million won by the fire department.



The fire department estimated that the lithium battery in the electric wheel inside the vehicle exploded, causing the fire.
