The presidential office abolished the last government's 'People's Petition' and opened a new communication channel called 'People's Proposal' from yesterday (23rd).

The people’s proposal, which can be accessed through the presidential office website, consists of four main windows: a civil complaint/suggestion section for filing civil complaints about administrative disposition, a petition for damage relief or correction for the execution of official duties by public officials, and the digitally underprivileged class. Video suggestion corner for customers, 102 phone information for inquiries, etc.

Unlike national petitions, it is operated in principle in a private and real-name system.

An official from the presidential office said, 'There was no legal basis for the deadline for processing public opinions because the civil petitions were not based on the Civil Petitions and Petitions Act. ' I said.

The public proposal said that it plans to eliminate screening criteria such as 'consent of more than 200,000 people' and respond within the legal deadline through the 'complaint responsibility handling system'.
