An illegal filming incident occurred at an undergraduate MT event at a university in Gyeonggi-do, but it is known that the school, who received the report, did not take appropriate action, such as requesting an investigation or disciplinary action, is causing controversy.

Today (22nd), according to the students and faculty of University A in Gyeonggi-do, about 10 students in the 1st through 4th grades of this university's B undergraduate department left MT for the Gangwon area last January.

A female student at the time was using her dorm bathroom when she found a camera set up to spy on her body parts.

As this issue became a public debate among students participating in MT, it was confirmed that a camera was installed in the bathroom of the male student's dormitory.

Under various circumstances, male student C was identified as the culprit, and the victims notified the school of this fact.

However, the school did not request the police to investigate the case and did not discipline C.

Accordingly, suspicions are being raised that the school is focusing only on enlisting so that the incident is not known to the outside, for fear of tarnishing its image.

A university official said, "(When this happens), it is common for the school to request the police to investigate along with its own fact-finding, but they did not inform the police. .

The professor of the department said, "After hearing about the incident, I tried to confirm the facts, but the school officials refused to talk about it, saying it was a 'second offense'."

At this university, several years ago, an incident of illegal filming in the school's women's bathroom was reported to the police.
