A man in his 50s who was smoking while walking down the street asked for him to stop smoking, and a man in his 50s who was swearing and assaulting was sentenced to a fine.



On the 13th, the Seoul Central District Court sentenced a 50-year-old man who was charged with assault and insult to a fine of 2 million won.



Person A is accused of verbal abuse and assault when a woman in her 20s following her while walking on a road in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, asked to stop smoking in 2020.



Although her passersby were staring at her, Mr. A continued her abusive language to this woman, 'When did you say you saw her?' .



Mr. A was initially given a summary order of 2 million won in fine, but requested a formal trial, but the court maintained the amount of the fine set in the summary order.



The court said, 'The amount of the fine is determined by taking into account all the conditions of sentencing, including the circumstances before and after the crime, and it is judged to be appropriate'.



Person A dissatisfied with the court's decision has filed an appeal.
