SBS has obtained specific details of how Seongnam FC paid hundreds of millions of won to aides of Democratic Party lawmaker Lee Jae-myung in return for attracting donations.

According to data obtained by SBS, Seongnam FC paid more than 300 million won in incentives to internal employees who attracted advertisements from companies from 2015 to 2017.

Seongnam City and Seongnam FC have been refusing to disclose the purpose of the donations from companies, but this is the first time it has been confirmed that some of them were paid out as incentives from close associates.

Before 2015, Seongnam FC said that there was no fact that there was no payment of incentives for advertisement attraction.

The suspicion of Seongnam FC is that large corporations such as Doosan E&C and Naver provided 16 billion won in donations from 2014 to 2017, and it is suspected that they were given preferential treatment such as licensing and change of use.

In response to the prosecution's request for a supplementary investigation, the police raided Doosan E&C and Seongnam FC last month, and the re-investigation began in earnest.
