There is an outrage over the death of ducks living in a river in Seoul after being stoned.



The incident became known on the 17th when a netizen shared a warning message saying, “I am so upset.” 



In an article that begins with the words, 'Please read to those who killed ducks by stoning here,' the author announced that he was an investigator working in an intelligent crime investigation team and warned against animal cruelty.



In the warning, the author said, "I am checking the CCTV and tracking the movement of the electric kickboard, so you will be arrested in the future." After revealing his contact information, he said, "Please contact me (with this number) and if you voluntarily attend, I will accept you by surrender. "I warn you clearly that if you reject the proposal and turn away, you will be subject to the greatest punishment prescribed by the law."



As a result of checking today (the 20th) by SBS, the investigator in charge said, "It is true that he posted the warning message.

The incident became known when residents reported to the police at about 5 pm on the 13th that 'two men intensively threw stones at a flock of ducks'.



At the time, two men threw stones at a flock of ducks playing in the river, which resulted in the discovery of some of the ducks in the river.



A citizen who witnessed this remembered the scene of cruel abuse at the time, saying, "The elderly people around me told me not to do it, but I kept throwing stones."



The police, who started the investigation, were called back on the 16th after receiving a report that 'someone was riding an electric kickboard and throwing stones at the duck', but the suspects had already left the scene.



The suspects once again appeared at the crime scene on the 17th and were caught practicing throwing stones at the wall.



As a series of animal cruelty incidents occurred, the police posted a warning sign at the scene and analyzed the surrounding CCTV to pursue the suspects.



The investigator in charge is continuing the investigation in relation to the case, and said, "The public contact information is spreading online, and there are continuous phone calls."
