According to the head of Roscosmos, the Russian side is waiting for a proposal from the United States on the candidacy of an American astronaut to be included in the Russian crew.

The head of the American ISS program, Joel Montalbano, said in December 2021 that the flights of Russian cosmonauts on the Crew Dragon spacecraft, and American astronauts on the Soyuz could begin in the fall of 2022.

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Mikhail Mishustin, signed an order allowing Roscosmos to start negotiations with NASA on the implementation of the agreement on cross-flights.
