Recently, cryptocurrency mining company 'TG CLOUD' suddenly stopped service and thousands of investors are running around.

The majority of investors suddenly closed their offices and stopped deposits and withdrawals ahead of the principal and interest repayment date.

As a result of an investigation by some of the victims themselves, it was estimated that more than 3,000 people suffered more than 40 billion won in damages.

The victims claim that the number of members is estimated at about 40,000, and the actual damage will reach hundreds of billions of won.

“I increased my investment after seeing that it was making money, but I was disappointed… I was deceived by a large-scale advertisement”

Victims were deceived into investing up to hundreds of millions of won by being deceived by the promise that they would guarantee a 50% monthly profit if they rent or purchase a bitcoin mining machine overseas.

In most cases, they invested a small amount at first, but gradually increased the investment after seeing that the profits were increasing every day and the actual withdrawals were made.

They say it was difficult to suspect that it was a company that advertised extensively on YouTube, buses, and subways.

He said that he had no choice but to believe because the company logo and the serial numbers of the members were written in the video released as a mining site in Russia or Kazakhstan.

[Victim in their 30s]

"I saw an advertisement while watching a comedian YouTuber. A well-known YouTuber advertised this? Then I thought it would be reliable. I bought it and it happened again and again. A total of about 100 million won was spent. The debt alone is about 70 million won."

[Chairman of the Victims' Meeting]

"I saw that the company had even booked a meal at the Shilla Hotel in September for VIP customers, so I made it feel safe as if profits would come by then."

"I'm going to die today after investing 300 million won. After hearing this, three people who had no one-to-one relationship went to meet him. Hundreds of people with hearing impairments also suffered losses."

“I sent a message to a YouTuber asking them to do a public apology broadcast, but they deleted all the videos we watched and continued their activities.”

How this was possible, I met and asked a former employee who worked in the Gangnam office of Eslot two months before this incident.

From revenue verification to mining farm video calls...

YouTubers who encouraged investment

Former Eslot employee Mr. A said that the YouTuber advertisement had a great effect in raising investment.

Famous YouTubers with tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of subscribers attract investors by promoting their companies as 'they have large mines in 18 countries', verifying their actual profits, or even showing video calls with employees of mining farms in Russia. that it was collected.

[Gag YouTuber]

“There are several types of mining machines. What I see now is that you can earn 54,000 won a day by investing 3 million won. It's a mining rig."

"You can see it keeps going up, I'm earning like this now. My weekly income is 252,000 won."

"If you're interested, I'll put a link in the pinned comment. Go there."

Mr. A says that the YouTubers who uploaded the promotional video must have received an advertising fee of 3 million to 30 million won per video.

However, the money that YouTubers receive in exchange for publicity is more than advertising costs.

This is the commission (brokerage fee) that viewers who sign up through the link they put up receive each time they purchase a mining machine.

Eslot has a multi-level structure in which a person who directly recommends an investment receives 5%, followed by 5 steps and a maximum of 15% in return.

Mr. A said that there are YouTubers who have earned tens of millions of won from such commissions alone.

"The Eslot Me system itself is a commission structure, and in a way, it's a pyramid multi-level. When I invite people, the money goes up to the top ID."

"YouTubers put a link on their channel. When a fan clicks on it and signs up, they earn commission. 5%, then 3%, then 1%."

"All YouTubers receive an average of 50 million won. The person who received the lowest is 50 million won. Advertisement fee, commission fee, side money, and other side money.

However, it is questionable whether YouTubers properly recognized it and started promoting it.

Is it not responsible for introducing to subscribers an investment product that is too high a rate of return and will not be strange at any time?

(Didn't the YouTubers do at least a minimum verification of the company's credibility?) "There is nothing to verify. All YouTubers, please give me some money. That's it."

Many YouTubers continue their existing activities after only deleting the promotional video in question.

I asked a YouTuber who had hundreds of thousands of subscribers what happened, and he said that he was also victimized.

MCN, to which the YouTuber is affiliated, said, "There is no way to get involved in advertising as it is a non-exclusive contract."

[Business Promotion YouTuber]

"I'm actually a victim. I've been tied up with 30 million won. I'm debating whether to accuse Eslot of running a business with lies."

“After receiving the offer, I saw that I made a direct deposit and started advertising. I never had any doubts.”

(Did you earn tens of millions of won in commission income?) “You have to calculate it, but it is absolutely not possible to get that much per month.”

The whereabouts of the representative and the reality of the international organization remain unclear.

Eslot was not only active in Korea.

According to company promotional materials, Eslot has established offices in Seattle, Sweden, Hong Kong, Russia, Korea and Vietnam, and has digital mines in 18 countries.

Considering the interior of the Russian and Kazakh mines with the company logo on them, it is possible that an international scale operation was carried out to 'eat up'.

(What were the mining farms in the video?) "After I got to know a bit, I think they just rented out mines. I said I'll take a few pictures, and I paid some money… I hung a placard for the manager of the mining farm. I'll take a picture, so I'll give you some money."

It is difficult to believe the description of the company that it has offices in 6 countries and digital mines in 18 countries.

However, it seems to be true that they have offices in Korea and Vietnam and solicited investors with extensive advertisements.

According to Mr. A, it was Chinese people in Hong Kong who oversaw the branches in Korea and Vietnam.

[Mr. A |

Former eslot employee]

"If you look at the organizational chart, after being established in Hong Kong, Vietnam and Korea branches were opened. When talking in Vietnam and Korea, Hong Kong is the headquarters. A Hong Kong manager named Jung controls ESlot and gives all instructions. I did."

“I understand that the Korean representative established a Korean branch by talking to the Hong Kong representative he was close with. He usually speaks on the phone in Chinese.”

I tried to contact the company for further confirmation and went to the office, but no contact was reached.

The police investigation has just begun with victims from all over the country filing complaints.
